From your floor plan to an evacuation drawing

Start with the free demo and explore the workflow before purchasing a licence.

1. Open the evacuation tools

Install Easy Zone Plans on your Windows PC and select its evacuation / egress plan workflow.

2. Prepare the layout

Import your floor-plan PDF or create a blank page and draw walls, doors and stairs. Import Trace provides a temporary PDF guide for manual redrawing; it is not automatic conversion. Tracing currently imports the first PDF page, so save other pages separately before tracing them.

3. Add the evacuation information

Mark the routes and exits that match your building’s agreed evacuation arrangements. Add relevant safety symbols and clear labels. Check orientation and legibility for the intended display position.

4. Review and export

Check the drawing against the actual building and its evacuation strategy. Activate your paid licence to export the finished PDF. A drawing supports—but does not replace—the full emergency procedure or a fire-risk assessment.
